My name is Doré and this is me:
Okay, that was actually me after a fun day of partying at Mardi Gras... but still me!
Since Mardi Gras is actually probably only 1 of the 2 times a year I drink, this next picture is probably a more accurate portrayal of the "real" me...

This is my incredible family... Anthony, Brayden, and yours truly!
This was taken the day before Brayden turned 1 and will probably ALWAYS be my Favorite Family Picture!

Here is a more recent picture of Brayden, the love of my life!

Okay, now that we have the introductions out of the way... I'll tell you a little about me.
I was born and raised in Central Louisiana and wouldn't want to call any other place home. I can do the whole girly dress up thing, but much prefer to just kick back in jeans and a T and be Me. Yes, I do have a country accent and I'm darn proud of it too!
I am engaged to Anthony... for almost 3 years now. We have an amazing little boy named Brayden, who was born on July 24, 2007. He is the light of my life and I have a hard time remembering my life without him. Brayden brightens each one of my days and makes me feel whole. He has taught me the true meaning of love and I feel so incredibly blessed to be his mommy!
I am getting close to 30 (2010) and honestly don't care. I am one of those who think you're only as old as you feel and I don't feel old at all! I'm still a kid at heart, but I know when to be serious as well.
I will FINALLY graduate in December 2009 with my Bachelor's degree. If you did the math, yes... I am on the 10 (er... 11) year plan! I took a VERY long break from school (a few actually), but after I had Brayden, I decided to go back to school. I want to be able to give Brayden all the things he deserves in life and I knew I needed to get my education in order to do that. I am planning to be an early elementary teacher. I would love to teach 1st or 2nd grade. I am really looking forward to it and hope I am able to have a positive impact on at least 1 student. If I'm able to do that it will all be worth it!
Okay, so that's me in a nutshell! Anything else you wanna know, just ask!
