I decided to take some notes by hand today instead of using the computer. My handwriting has turned into something ridiculous.

I've never had the greatest handwriting. I used to get c's in penmanship in elementary school. I choose to blame it on the bias against left handed people in the classrooms when it comes to desk. I didn't know what a left-handed desk was until I started college. Anyway...
How am I supposed to teach kids to write if I can't give a positive example?? I guess I should take time away from the computer and start taking notes the old fashioned way... with a good ol' pen and paper! It actually hurts my hand if I have to write more than 2 pages. Give me a keyboard though, and I'll have 30 pages knocked out in no time.
I actually went to elementary school with a girl whose parents made her practice her handwriting in the 6th grade. She would have notebooks filled with the alphabet in upper and lower case as well as print and cursive. ummm yeah.... I never had to do that. I'm willing to put money on the fact that her handwriting is much better than mine!
Has anyone else noticed that their penmanship skills are worsening after relying so much on a computer and keyboard??
