Make Story Time "Together" Time with StoryTime Felts (review)

Brayden loves books. He loves looking at the pictures and speaking his Brayden-ese, which is a language I have yet to comprehend. He isn't a big fan of me sitting with him and actually reading the story to him, though. He much prefers his own versions of the stories, so Story Time Felts is the perfect solution for this!

Story Time Felts
is a company dedicated to offering the finest in felt board stories and visual aids for learning and open-ended play. They carry educational felt board story sets, dress up characters, non-denominational religious figures, finger plays, puppets, and more!

Brayden and I recently received the Farm & Zoo Animals Book from Awnya at Time4Felt.com and he absolutely loves it! I am trying to teach him all the different animals and the sounds they make, and this book is the perfect tool to help him learn. It has two sides, with one being a farm scene and the other being a zoo scene. It comes with 28 felt figures, which include animals, children, the farmer, and the zookeeper.

The Farm and Zoo Animals felt book seems to hold his attention longer than traditional books because it is hands-on and is totally up to us to decide how our story plays out. If you aren't feeling imaginative, you can read one of the five stories that are included on an insert to help utilize all the felt figures. No matter how you decide to use the felt book and figures, your children are sure to love it!

Interested in Story Time Felts (previously known as The Storyteller) and how it came to be??

The Storyteller began in 1988 when Lori and Dale Whiting first saw printed felt products at a convention. The vivid colors and intricate detail amazed Lori. The felt visual aids she saw were so stunning that she just had to reach out and touch them. She knew that if she were that excited about the products, others would be too!

In 1992 the company headquarters was moved from Idaho to Salem, Utah. It is still located there today. In 1990, the company purchased its own heat transfer press. This meant that the Story Teller could now design and print its own felt products-which is exactly what they did!

They are constantly adding new products to the ones they currently offer to address the ever-changing needs of children, parents, and educators. Most recently, in December of 2005, the company announced that they were changing their name to Story Time Felts.

They believe that their primary mission should be placed on connecting with children and making a difference in their lives. Their secondary mission is offering a great business opportunity, and this is best shared through personal contact and the telling of the individual stories.

If you are looking to make some extra money, there are also consultant positions available!!
